Probate
Court is a constitutionally created office widely known for handling cases like
probate of wills, administration of estates of deceased persons, and
appointments of guardians or conservatorships of the person and property of
incapacitated adults. However, we learned some additional and more
surprising things probate courts also handle such as exhumations for relocation
and taxidermy disputes.
Judge Powell described their service as those that cover “life, death and beyond” and that certainly covers a wide range of topics / cases.
