Coats For Kids

Our club took on the initiative of collecting new and gently used Coats for Kids donated to The Shaquille O’Neal Boys & Girls Club of Henry County who serve children in need.

The coats were presented to the local Boys & Girls Club at our regular luncheon on January 8, 2025.

Amelia Davis the Regional Director of the Atlanta Boys & Girls Club provided insight about the services Boys & Girls Clubs provide and how the Henry County Club is reperforming among the Metro Atlanta clubs.

One member connected with a school that provided about 100 coats that had been left in the lost and found. The member laundered them and inspected them to insure they were in good condition.
