Let's Fill The Truck!
Henry County Business Are Delivering Food and Clothing to North Carolina

Donations accepted through October 18, 2024 at 3 pm

The Henry County Rotary Club and local businesses are coordinating a second truckload to North Carolina of urgently needed food and clothing for families who lost everything in hurricane Helene.

Southern Belle Farm is providing the truck and transportation to deliver this much needed relief to North Carolina families who lost everything to this terrible disaster.

The supplies are being delivered to and distributed from a warehouse in Marion, NC organized by volunteers, the McDowell County Rotary Club and now under the direction of the National Guard.

You can help by donating personal use items to fill the truck. We are told that there is plenty of water at this time. Organizers at the site have asked that we focus on the most needed items for this delivery.

Most needed items include:

  • Baby food, formula, diapers, baby wipes

  • Personal hygiene items, dry shampoo, tooth paste, tooth brushes, deodorant

  • Feminine hygiene items

  • Warm clothing, shoes and socks of all sizes

  • Non-perishable food items

Southern Belle Farm is the preferred drop off location. However, if it is more convenient for you, other local businesses are accepting donations during their business hours and those items will be added to the truck.
