Resource kits were provided with information from Shared Hope International to be distributed to middle and high schools in the Henry County School District.
Quotes from the presenters:
Rick Perry, president of the Henry County Rotary Club stated, “Human trafficking is a crucial concern for me as a father and for the Henry County Rotary Club due to its profound violation of human rights and its damaging impact on victims and communities. Rotary’s commitment to service, advocacy and ethical standards positions us effectively to combat this global and local issue, through raising awareness, supporting rehabilitation programs and advocating for effective policies.”
Sabrina Crawford founder of Gigi's House said, “I’m very passionate about loving kids and being the voice for children. Most people think of trafficking as a 3rd world problem. People don’t realize it is happening right here, in Henry and Clayton counties.
